• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

The super duper "Aces" left a routine to follow the weather changes taking place in the FSX world......

Maybe you need to change your weather to rain more.

Man... Now that would be a wild sim. Taking care of a planet. Setting its weather cycles up. Watching certain lands flourish. Sounds like a good Star Wars game.. Reminds me of that 'new solar system' they found in season one of Stargate Universe. Totally new system, beautiful Earth like planet.

To be fair I was thinking that the gurus at MS could give a juicy contract to the Ausies of ORBX and let them take care of all land paraphanelia in the future (???) Simo.......there, that would solve all problemas about scenery, LC, airfields, shores and even little people...go MS!!!!:p

Looking at their latest propaganda flic, they may have well done that!!!!! there is a hint of good looking landmasses, I would still like to see it with noon sunlight not in twilight where shadows can fool people, finger are crossed for a miracle here!!!!

That would be interesting. Sim Earth was kinda like that... Man all the games I wish they would remake (with better graphics, sound ect...) that would kick alot of today's games out of the water. Star wars episode 1 and episode 1 racer just to name a couple :)

Seems like all there is today is fantasy like WOW (doesn't get me excite at all) or modern first person shooters. (doesn't get me as excited as a WW2 shooter would)

Speaking of, I've started a second playthrough of CoD - Black Ops yesterday.
While the weapon selection is utter BS (MP5s in 1963?), the storytelling is very cool. It's kind of like a game made Michael Bay movie (tons of boom and bang).

Also, encountering Castro, McNamara and Kennedy (!) in cutscenes is just awesome!
