FSX Steam Edition (aka "FSX_SE") uses default FSX folder paths and system environment variables if installed before / instead of the DVD version of FSX.
Use the P3D version 1.4x SDK as the (complete and compatible) FS SDK for
all FSX work:
Prepar3D v1 SDK. Lockheed Martin removed the SDK from their website, so the download link takes it from the web.archive.org archive.

Both ADE and SBuilder for FS9 / SBuilderX require that particular versions of FSUIPC be installed in order to link with a running session of FS:
