• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX Display Issue

Whenever I load FSX and hit the, "fly now" button the black background with the white box showing the loading status appear. However, the black background disappears and just leaves the white icon. Then, once it loads I don't see anything, I just see my normal desktop. The tab on the bottom of my computer showing the programs I have open has FSX on it and when I hover over the FSX icon I can see the loaded flight but when I click it nothing happens. So far this only happens to saved flights. Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you have had more than one monitor, then it is possible for the sim window to open outside the active monitor. It could be a consequence that those flights were saved during that monitor configuration, but I'm just guessing.

Hi Jason;

I'm watching your post, cause i have the exact same probleme with my FSXA . I cannot use the save flight , i only have to go directly to a Airport and everything is OK.

I assume your Flight Sim PC runs Windows 10 because I know this problem since I changed to Win 10. I have not a clue why it happens but the solution is simple. Move your cursor to the FSX icon at the bottom. When the preview appears move the cursor into the preview, right click and choose 'Maximise' --> have nice flight!
