Animations will portover fine into FSX with only tagging required for use in FSX. Partnames don't need to match what is in the modeldef script as the script itself is attached via the attach tool or animation manager. Since the spinning rotor has it's own XML definition in the modeldef, exporting the parts propxxx_still, slow, blurred will still work fine with the rotor animation XML (rotor_still, slow, blurred). On another note, the tail rotor spins faster then the main rotor. That's another advantage in FSX. It can done in FS9, but it's tricky to do.

Hi sergio have you tried using autocad regarding XML scripting i,m sure this programe as tutorials on how to,sHello David
Sadly, I am a super begginer in XML programming and a very bad one by the way. In my side, all details you've mentioned will be static because I don't know how to implement the part scripts to do it. Also, if everything goes well, the FS9 versions will be ready in a few weeks.
Nowadays, I am tweaking the gauge scripts as humanly possible...![]()

3d xml gauge coding is so much easier and cleaner than 2d because your only dealing with the animation and not colors, text and xyz coordinates. Sometimes a simple analog gauge will only need one short string of code to function properly.
