• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi guys this is my massive MD902 it is 6ft long and from the skids to the rotorhead its 2ft in height
she as working nav lights 2 scaled pilots and a search light.
hope you like her.

HI sergio no its a vario built kit, i,m not that clever to build something on this scale wish i was.
i just have a good imagination for design, i normally build model house,s but wont shows pic,s on here as its a bit off topic.
but if your interested in some pics i can email them to you.

Hello lads

It's been a while since I've update the thread. Main reason: Pulling my hair by trying to improve gauge functions. This weekend, I worked on MFD's "page 2". In my twisted head, I managed to give some "real numbers" for all readings.

You've seen many times EICAS page 1:

So far, all bargraphs and number readings are doing... "something" :duck: :duck: :duck: At least, I was able to reproduce a tiny fraction of real life behavior. At this time, I am working around the OEI conditions. AFAIK, the real specs should be somehting like this:

OEI is defined as "One Engine Inoperative". Gas Producers RPMs for both engines are set to 120% max.
Gas Producer (NG) operational conditons are displayed next:
a) NG with both engines running: 103.1% is the max. continous operational value.
b) NG @OEI: 103.1% is the max. continous operational value.
c) NG @OEI emergency operation: 109.2% as max operational value for 2.5 minutes.-->

Whish me luck... I will need it! :confused: :confused: :confused:

As I mentioned, there's a lot of things I don't know about this aicraft, numbers, ranges, engine behavior, you name it; nevertheless I am doing my very best to make her fun to fly!

Thanks for your kind words and for being with us in this adventure. All work still continues...
By any chance, do you have installed FS9 in your PC? I am looking for FS9 user feedback:

- Different windows platforms stability (i.e.: Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 10)
In this case, I have Windows 7 Home Premium @ bits in my system; so this won't be an issue.
- Gauge performance.
- Feedback on MFD and PFD systems. I am doing educated guesses on how they work...
- An urgent help in flight dynamics; George is under a heavy workload this days (real life and several projects at hand).
In this regard, Jordan Moore shared with us an interesting XML module (Engine_control.xml) which sets and enables
both engines parameters. For me, this is out of my XML's skills at this moment.

I'm still alive and kicking. I'm about to wrap up the S76 project with some minor fixes I got from Martin and one last test (hopefully), then release. Bell 222 to follow as I have some minor fixes for that project before release of base model. Bell 429 for FSX is slowly gaining shape in FSX and I'm covering the VIP models first, expansions will follow thereafter. Awesome to see the exciting interest this project has gained, especially the X-Plane models. We have a very strong fan base built because of this very project ;)
