• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX GCRR Lanzarote

Work is still continuing at a good rate on Lanzarote. Here are a few screenshots of the ground work that i have done so far. It is still a work in progress but it is coming together nicely, as you can see.

I will have more updates in the near future

I have been working away on this scenery in the background for the past few months and i am delighted to announce that the scenery will feature 12cm/pixel resolution fully licensed aerial imagery. It took lots of work and editing to get it right but it is now placed in FSX.

It looks fantastic in sim and here are a few screenshots to show you the progress.

How much you paid for that aerial imagery? I'm keen to know..:)

I'm jealous on your satellite photo. In my area, it is not available at that resolution. I cannot see any taxiway signs that clear from my PURCHASED satellite photo at all.

Thank you, i am very happy with the ground imagery that i purchased. The quality is excellent and really adds to the realism in FSX.

If you send me a PM i will let you know these details.

Anyway, here are a few more pics to show the ground poly. I have made good progress on the scenery in recent weeks. Release is getting closer...

Very interesting. I am just in the market for a good Lanzarote scenery. Will this be payware or freeware? Dont know if I should look elswhere while waiting for your Lanzarote or if you are well on the way. Looks like development has been ging on for a while. In any case, I am looking forward to it.

Mike

You achieved an amazing mood with those lights!!

I just hope the taxi lights will get a shine effect too?:)

Hi Guys,
Firstly apologies for the delay with release but during beta testing we found a problem with the aerial imagery that we have been working on for the past few days.

However, i am glad to say that we have now resolved this problem and it will be ready very very soon!

I will post here in the very near future to announce the release :)
