The shear fact that PMDG is focusing on large aircraft is our reason for starting this project. Yes, it's fun to fly a 777, however how many pilot's that are working on ATP minimums or building hours as a CFI are planning for a 777 or 757 to be their next aircraft? Realistically, none.
The flight sim community has been lacking mid level training aircraft for a long time. We realize that your first part 121 commercial pilot job is going to be in an ATR, an ERJ, a CRJ, a Dash, even aircraft like Dassault, Cessna. Our goal is to fill the gaps in where the aircraft haven't been developed yet, or the current ones are antiquated in comparison. We wan't to give you all the tools you need to prepare you for indocs, or to just simply have a good time.
Just curious: does this also include aircraft like the Cessna 310 and Piper Cheyenne?
