• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Please welcome a new member to the FSDeveloper administrator team. Most of you will know Lefteris Kalamaras already, as he is a respected forum member and also a MVP. He is going to help with running this community and with some of the challenges that are ahead (about which I will tell more soon :)).

I'm sure it was just a translation problem, but when I hear there are going to be "challenges" coming up, I think uh-oh. In my experience, calling something a challenge is a euphemism for saying it's going to be a big problem.

Say it ain't so, Arno!

We don't see any big problems - just opportunities ;)

Wild guess here...

Just wonder if Nick's efforts to get some dev tools released finally paid off?

Now excuse me while I go check my Super Lotto numbers...:D

Y'all will just have to be patient :)

I'm sorry Jon, but I have this horrible image of a redneck drawl, while you're there having a cup of tea and crumpets. Just doesn't mesh. And we all know, it's all about the mesh, man... :D

Drawl maybe. tea for sure - crumpets - you gotta be kidding :D

I am afraid that our news is not as excited as soon had hoped, but it is also not the big problem Bill was afraid of. See the details here.

Yasu Lefteris, tekanis? I had the pleasure of being stationed in Nea Makri back in 1974 and 1975, and will one day make it back. Welcome!
