• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I think I have an conclusion here.
Do whatever you want to do and the market wants.
Do it before someone else do and finish that before your work done. The market will be dried out before you lauch what you have left.:D

I personally think that SLC is the more preferred airport than KSAC. But, that is only my opinion. I mostly fly aircraft from the PMDG 737 and larger ones. Sacramento airport does not cater to larger aircraft and I really don't think i would be interested in it......just my opinion!!:twocents:

@jtanabodee
Sure we do it :)

Well for the 737 lovers KSMF is really a good address. And for (nearly) all the others too. As Southwest Airlines is the biggest carrier in KSMF, you have a few destinations to fly to. For 767 lovers, maybe the Hawaiian flight to Maui is interesting? For MD-90 lovers there are also a few destinations from Delta. Airbus lovers maybe find it interesting with jetBlue?

Just to mention out a few possible routes to and from Sacramento. The reason why we start first with KSMF is quite simple. KSLC is really huge. We did until now only little airports/airfields. EDRJ and EGBG were quite little compared to airliner airports. We want to train ourself first a bit on an airport like KSMF to see and also get a user feedback about what we did and how we did it. And afterwards, after knowing (hopefully) new techniques and after seeing where and what to improve we want to try our best, sorry, we give our best for KSLC. Do not get me wrong, we will do the airport, that's for sure, but first a more little airport and then KSLC :)

HELP us KSLC

I am currently working on fixing some of the little issues around KSLC, specifically for the GA east side of the airport. I have been trying to fix the KSLC BlueHangars that sit on top of the road east of the airport, and get rid of some that don't exist in the real airport. I would love to work with you and Gary on an update if he is still interested. I sent him an email way back when but never heard back from him. I'm working with the flight schools in the area and need the most accurate GA buildings possible. Any thoughts?
Actually, U42 would be a nice project in it's own right. It has a nice National Guard Helicopter base and is quite a busy GA airport in the real world. Would be nice to see it incorporated into your KSLC scenery along with the Intermountain Health Care Medical Center in Murray (a nice place to land Augusta air ambulances).
Good luck on your venture. I guess my friend Gary Widup and I are going to have to get busy with some new freeware after all of these years.

This was cancelled a year ago. The airport is not possible for us to make, if it was possible, it would be pointless.
