Website down time

I noticed that the last days the site is down now and then. I have already filed a support ticket at the webhost and I hope they can fix it soon.

I believe it been going on for about a week... but can't be sure since I've been having router issues recently.

I don't think it is solved yet. I have had no response from the host yet.

I know, I noticed myself as well and send another message to the webhost company about it.

They said before that they see that the server sometimes is very busy and that some process needs to restart due to that. But they also say that such a reboot should only result in a few seconds of down time and that is not what we see. The site is difficult to reach for much longer.


I can always get in but is considerably slow - pages are taking 5 minutes or more to load. England.
I can't imagine why sohosted,com would willingly engage in false advertising:

I suppose truth might be forthcoming if complaints were filed with appropriate authorities. :scratchch:

And I believe most would-be participants prefer to not impose tasks onto Arno's preferred priority list.

Unfortunately, this recurrent and ongoing problem will make fsdeveloper seem to be "fsdeplorable".

Unless fsdeveloper has a goal of not being taken seriously, this would be something to fix ASAP.

I have send another email to the hosting company this evening, since I also think it takes too long.

As far as I know now it is a problem on their side, since the website worked fine until about a week ago and I did not change a thing.

I've got in to the site now with no problem, but for the past several days it's been almost impossible from my UK end at any time.

Yes, fingers crossed. This morning it was still slow, but now it seems normal again.
