• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Early WIP image of my Lagos project. I'm soon about to finish the main terminal, then I'll move on to modeling the domestic terminal. The imagery available for the airport is very limited but I think I now have enough sources to replicate the airport in adequate level of accuracy. I should have it released somewhere this spring / early summer.

Hi everybody!

We are now planing our next project beside Kilimanjaro 2015.
We are heading Ajjacio, Corsica-France.
Please note that we are now consider this destanetion and we will declare if we go on it or not on 1-2 months.
It's important for us to be totaly honest with all of the comunity here. and not "catch" some area ot airport if we are not attend to develop it. more than that, and as most of you may know, there are some check that should be done before the ignition of new project.
For your information.

Thanks.

Welcome to Notodden, Norway :)

Featuring all nearby city buildings, photoreal ground and a runway with crossing car traffic.

Looks great! Fantastic detail.

I hate to ask, is it compatible with ORBX FTX EU Norway?

The reason I ask, my ENSB I built years ago, is not compatible. I have been (slowly) updating it. :(

Quickly updating, Northern Firestation at EDDL (need to texture it still):

F747fly, quick tip when you start to rotate out of the Top, Left, Right, Front, Bottom Ortho view. Check the Auto Perspective as "5" is always forgotten. ;)

I don't, assuming you mean the rotation for the stairs, if I only rotated on the Z-axis.
I'll check it ;) Personally I only use ortho view to model, perhaps perspective would have been nicer for the image but I prefer ortho view for the modeling :)

Everyone is using Ortho, but when you are in perspective world it means perspective.. Sort of eye friendly mode, sort of preview and say "yea cool ! "... well, modeling in Ortho.. Not always. It depends.. ;)

Well I'm having trouble seeing if a cut is straight when modeling in perspective... However it gives you a nice look at what you've made, that's true.

Quick update on my CYTZ scenery. I've gone full veggie the last week or so. Lots of fun, but quite a challenge trying to find the right balance between lush flora and smooth frames (I hand-placed a huge amount of grass before I realized the frame hit was--at that point--around 40%). The list of things still to be done is long.
