• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    FS2004 4.3.0.5 Not compiling

Just tried to compile the KRSW project, and AFLT will start to compile, but quickly hits a runtime error. Tried to download directly from the website, and used a new folder, and the same issue appears.

FS9 Version is happening also.... If I open the compile screen only effects can be selected....When I opened an older project, only bgl lights could be selected.

    FS2004 Ground poly help

Arno- I was working on my ground polys today, and accidentally over-wrote one of my working bgls. So, I went and re-exported everything and used the same entries for the layer numbers and view distances (Had set that up in the options, so I know nothing changed there, and I had written the...

FS2004 Can not export model to FS9

If it was a P3D or FSX model first then it didn't have the limit...You can technically compile a model larger than 60K for FS9, but it requires breaking the model apart into separate LODs and modifying the .asm and compiling thru BGL9_C. Search for ULE here to find the walkthru.

FS2004 Can not export model to FS9

Ok...it could be that you have hit the 60K ceiling of what the compiler can handle.
