• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Using latest version of ADE V 1.79.7475 in P3D V5.3 HF2I get a compile error that I cannot interpret nor understand how to fix. '

Are you using the latest version of the SDK that matches the installed sim version?

The problem appears to be that there is a value for surface which the compiler schema does not understand (122). Please post the project file (.ad4) which is showing this error. Please also tell me the source for this - did you create it from stock or from a third party bgl file or from something else?

I don't have the .ad4 file, this was a third party freeware scenery done for me and none of the .ad4 files were supplied to me. It was originally done for me in FSX long ago then "enhancements" were made
to it by another person to make it usable in P3D5. I was attempting to add a couple of objects to it after which the compile process errored out. If I just open the bgl do nothing but compile it will errror.
It works well in P3DV5. I didn't do any edits myself. I am just learning ADE and don't know much.

I was using an older post here with similar "122" errors. It allowed me to compile when I got rid of the 122 errors in the fashion that it described.
I now have a grass strip where it should not be. I was able to add some objects and compile. I now have to figure out how to rid some grass strips
that are not needed.

When I select one of the many 122 errors the backgound screen on the right will move to a different area and although center on object is ticked, I cannot tell what specifically I am looking at.
How can I tell what the specific 122 area is?

Hello...
It appears to be all the narrow pathways of 16.4 in width (all of them). They all have the tag name or in this case "122" - which isn't valid. It's highlighted in a bright yellow (the center line).

As Doug says its the left hand branch of the lowest taxiway, colored yellow down the center.
