Library Objects from ACG not showing in new scenery

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to build a version of MoD Boscombe Down as accurate as I can manage, to do this I want to use the hardened aircraft hangars used by ACG in their Coningsby and Marham scenery.

I opened these airports in ADE and added all the files within the scenery folders so that all the black boxes in the scenery become visible and appear as yellow boxes. So far so good..

I made a note of what library to find the HAS in and have added this into my Boscombe Down project and all seems well. I compile the scenery and add it into the FSX scenery library the issue comes when I load Boscombe Down and find that the HAS aren't there..

I've read some posts that some users have been able to copy and paste objects from ACG scenery but in my case it's a no show. I'd really appreciate some help :/

Thanks,

Cameron.

You also need to place those HAS BGL files into an active FS scenery folder and the required textures into the adjoining texture folder.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I'm trying to use the HAS from the ACG RAF Coningsby scenery and I've got them in my Scenery Library, I tried to find the HAS BGL files but they're in a bgl file called ACG_CY_OBJECTS.BGL so I've made a scenery folder called Hardened Aircraft Shelter and I've put this BGL into the scenery folder and I've made an adjoining texture folder into which I've put all the texture files I can find relating to the HAS in the Coningsby texture scenery. The scenery folder is active in FSX but still no show..

Here's some screenshots

Do you have any other scenery for this airport in higher scenery layers? If so, they may be excluded.

The easiest way is to load ACG_CY_OBJECTS.BGL into ModelConverterX, export CGYHASCLOSED, CGYHASFLOOR and CGYHASOPEN as FSX models then create a library using Library Creator XML.

Insert this library in your scenery folder and the textures in the associated texture folder.

Here they are placed at my current airport:
