Silly me posted this on Reddit first until someone suggested FSDeveloper. The reason I mention this is because as you can see I'm quite concealed about which scenery this is and I'm blanking out names on pictures as you don't know what crazy individual you're likely to find on Reddit, I'll promise to be much more open here. I've directly copied the post to here in hope of finding a knowledgeable being.
Current State of the Scenery
I've been converting different scenery for a while now over to Prepar3D v4 but I've not ever encountered such a brain fart with none other than a SCASM (.sca) ground poly. I'm not a professional nor do I develop scenery, I do conversions in my spare time.
So I've decompiled 4 parts of a ground poly from their compiled SCASM BGL state to their SCASM .sca state. To make the files compatible with MCX I had to remove a couple of 'Return' statements towards the top of the file. I then proceed to open the file in MCX and I export it with the Ground Polygon Wizard to a v4.4 BGL with almost all of the recommended settings enabled.
Decompiled SCASM .BGL Edited to Work in ModelConverterX
One of the Converted Polys
In the end, when I load up into the sim I get a wonderful result but only one of the layers is showing with the rest concealed underneath (the stuff you see above is concealed underneath). I kinda need to reverse the order... I guess? I'm really unsure. Just so you know I'm not kidding around, at certain positions I can get the scenery to glitch and reveal the underlying layer.
Underlying Stuff Glitching Through / Misalignments (which I can fix once I've got the issue at hand figured out)
I'm not going to say what airport this is but I'm sure most can guess from the pictures and understand the demand that persists for this scenery to work in v4.
If anyone knows how I should go about getting these .sca polys to work when converted I'd greatly appreciate your help and I'm sure the community will in the long run also.
