• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Nice beach of Phuket, animated trees and spectacular airport.

I am almost done with all the buildings and start to make night texture. The only things left are jetway and the bridge. Yes, it will be SODE jetway which is quite difficult. So, save the best for last. All the textures are hand painted, not from 3dsmax render at all.

Seasonal variation of Phuket is less than the default terrain texture. Since it is in tropical area, it rains almost throughout the year. However some seasonal texture of photoscenery seems to be a better choice to make it match the default texture, not totally stand out.

Um, FS9?
I thought that was the FSX. Now that's a bit surprising, it all looks so good!
Of Course, this is the FSX Version, but Tic mentioned allready, that he will be compiling the scenery for FS9 as well...

There will be for all the platform of Microsoft, FSX, P3D and FS9.

X plane is in the plan but I have less time to study it. I hope I can do it.

so there's some little hope on it...since there's a version from BDO Aviation as well... though I am curious of how it will be looking in FS9 when released. And I will compare it with the version from BDO Aviation as well.

As a huge fan of Thailand.. Thanks Tic!

I do hope to see a new version of Koh Samui for p3dv4+
And some others like Krabi and so on to!

Cheers

Is SODE working for FS9 too or how will you be solving that in FS9? Will the jetways be animated in FS9 too or is it maybe possible to contact Oliver Pabst for Addition of AES to the FS9 version, as soon as you've done the conversion / backport?

For FS9 you need to request to AES. Not all requests will be accepted. It is up to him if he would like to do that. I just make static jetway for fs9.

Sadly AES seems to be abandoned, so there is pretty much no need to request it for the FS9 version!
