• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

New scenery Göteborg-Landvetter FSX/P3D2 RC-Scenery

Hi,

We are working on P3D v2.5 compatibility, but when it will be released we do not know.
At the moment the FSX version works flawlessly in P3D, with the exception of the apron beam lights.
Until that is fixed we can not claim full P3D compatibility.
When that is fixed a new version 1.1 will be released, of course with no charge for our present version 1.0 users.

Best,
Bjorn

Excellent - thank you!

Great job Boys, landed 2day ,what next from your garage ???Broma or any nice from Sweden?

I can't remember where, but I remember I've read somewhere that the next project would be Skavsta. Am I correct about that? That would be a very cool destination!

First and foremost their next project is getting the V2 update for ESGG. Would love to see a good version of Skavsta or Trollhättan though!

Thanks for this, looking great. I installed it to P3D v2.5 by pointing the installer to my scenery folder, which is now outside the P3D installation. I have no problem waiting for the apron lighting - because my Airports of Norway package also struggle with this, LOL

Regarding the photoscenery - is it possible to make it a little darker? It is a tad too green/bright with FTX Global around it.

PS: The stub file does not install to \World\Scenery even if I point the installation to P3D root. Is it possible to get this file separately?

Re stub: If you tell us where to send it to?
Re photoreal: can be done but only for you or others that ask for it (and not as an update) and it will have to wait until I am back home (after March 15th).
Re next project: ESGG free update!
There were so many urgent requests for it that we decided to release it already though there were still a lot of things we had in mind to add and improve.

Thanks, that's perfect - I'll send you a PM regarding the stub file.

I have my own photoscenery for ESGG, so I will just keep on tuning the colours. Mine is a tad too dark for the time being.:duck:

It is no problem at all with your quick release. I do the same thing with AoN now and then, and let people know about "known bugs" in my readmes. There is one more thing I want to mention: When I taxi the main apron, the surface is only hard where the taxi lines are. Between them I get dirt spray from the wheels. Will the stub file solve this? I mention this in case the same is true with FSX.

Gee Andrew, you just found another 'bug' we did not notice (because like real pilots we follow the taxi markings:)), thanks for that. The stub will not solve it but it is noted and will be corrected (an easy thing to do but overlooked) in the update.

I think this will happen to pilots even if following "natural" taxiing, or it will be seen when pushback and turning is done. I just had a fast "drive-through" with my F-22 Raptor.

I have worked with this stuff a lot myself, and wonder if you will harden the complete custom apron with McX, or add a separate hardened surface? I have solved this before by making gmax 100m sections added together, and hardening them with McX. At ENLI, where I use the photo directly for the WW2 part of the runway, I just made the invisible taxi paths as wide as possible.

Thanks for the stub file!
