• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello all!

Again, I have pictures of a new country to show - Denmark - which is already quite advanced.
Denmark will be compatible to P3Dv4 and P3Dv5, does not require any other addons and will need about 15 GB of disk space:

It will only use one season, as snow is not very common.

Unfortunately, a strong color transition to the city of Copenhagen is visible on the satellite images... Unfortunately this cannot be avoided at the moment...

Oh, just as ORBX noticed your latest "TrueEarth"Germany, they said "hurry up, now we have to do Denmark at least"...
Today, they awake and have to say: "Rats! Matthias was at a faster pace yet again!" Hihi, so funny.... Congrats to your effort and work, mate!

Thanks!
But like I said on openLC Africa, I really don't want to compete with ORBX, I think ORBX also delivers great scenery...
I just do it my way... :po_O

Wonderful Matthias, Denmark is of course very important for us North Germans - it is almost our home ;)

Just as for us Bavarians, Bavaria belongs more to Austria and South Tyrol than to Germany :p

Looks very nice. Would it be possible to write the areas where they're taken? Is it gonna be pay or Freeware?

Looks very nice, but just to let you know, if that is google imagery, or bing yahoo etc, you would have to make it free. Because you can't use the photoimages for commercial use:)

,

I always have a little trouble writing where each picture is taken. I simply do not know my way around Denmark.
And by the time I searched for the place in Google, I could have taken 5 more pictures... ;)

Oh yes..........that's a very good decision! Hopefully the watermasks work in a good way. :)
As a proposal for the next scenery: please make croatia. There's absolut no acceptable photoscenery for this country. But of course it's a challenge for the watermasks ;). I tried it by myself but too much crazy islands with chaotic coastlines and also no photos with a reasonable color distribution.

The imagery is not Google or Bing, you can't even use Google or Bing for free sceneries...
Of course the scenery will be free, as always!

Second last picture is Aarhus seen from the South... I went to primary school 300 meters from the lower right corner, high school just behind the forest and the horse race track, and graduated from the business school in the top middle.... :D Fifth from the top is Korsør with the old now abandoned ferry harbor and the access to the Great Belt Bridge... 7th from the top is Grenaa with the ferry to Sweden... well, the default ferry to Sweden - the real one can be found in the Global AI Ship Traffic :D

Then I have some pictures from P3Dv4 with me today:

Here you can see the previously mentioned color transition at Copenhagen:

Then the question about the water masks came up:
