    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.

You Need to split your top part from the bottom part and parent (Is that 'link' in 3ds) the top part to the bottom part
So the top part Will nove along with the bottom part, but at the same time Is free to move in a different direction

If you want a single part to move in two directions, create a small cube inside the handle, at the hinge point of the handle.. Animate the handle forward/back (elevators). Then link the handle to the cube as a child of the cube. Then animate the cube left/right (ailerons). The handle will move with the cube. Thus the handle will have both animations.
