• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Creating a Global AI Shipping Package for FSX

Hi KL791, I have a request :
would you like to creating AI Ship for LHA of america or LHD? and please put AI around jakarta (WIII) or surabaya (WARR). I haven't yet learn how to create AI Ship, still working around creating an aircraft. I creating MV-22B, and love to land on Shipboard.
Thankyou

Love your work. Have them all.
Unfortunately I have not been working on new models.
But then again you make them better and faster than I would be able to do.
Wish somebody would come up with a better version of AIBTC so that you can find back the ships more easily (though Plan G does a good job).

After a busy week here are some news from the shipyard - the Victory class in P3D in WWII and civil paints and versions

Amazing models and texturing!!!!

I have to admit that P3D also does a difference to the textures, but still I am quite happy with the outcome - the black of the Tranquebar is done by copying a semi-transparent layer of a generic image of welded black iron plates on top of a uniform black color. It gives a bit of life to the hull - next handmade dirt and some handpainted shadows under the roofs, so that the ship will also have shadows in FSX or with shadows turned off. in P3D

Bravo!
You work with which 3d modeler software?

Do you alrezdy decided.wich ships are included in classic ship packs?

Hi
The ships I have done are all made in GMAX, but I am testing Blender at the moment, and each designer on the project use different tools. I have worked a bit with Sketchup, but the polygon count tend to increase too much for this kind of model.
Regards to the list of ships... Yes, the list is done... I will finish a German U-boat which was left almost done by another developer. Then if time allows I will do a quite beautiful Danish freighter, with an interesting story - the "Kina" from the EAC, and most likely the passenger ship the "Lydia", which today serves as casino in France, but was built in Denmark, and sailed on routes in Australia... A part from that there might come a number of different repaints for the Victory ships, but they will not all be done by me. That should be it for the classics in this round.

Hi,

A new ship in my shipward : F.-A. Gauthier, a natural gas ferry in Saint-Lawrence estuary. The real one from Fincantieri Castellamare shipward (Di Stabia, Italy).
