I learned the TU 144 (not sure if it's all versions) has retractable canards. I'm curious if that's possible to model with the FSX/P3D flight dynamics
prototype version didn't have canard, more over it far different from "production" version.I learned the TU 144 (not sure if it's all versions) has retractable canards. I'm curious if that's possible to model with the FSX/P3D flight dynamics
true, Concorde and TU-144 are have similarity on fuel balancing. this aircraft was very challenging... don't know how it will be ...Good luck with programming the systems and doing the flight dynamics on that one. The Concorde had a complex fuel balancing system to keep the center of gravity within limits during the long transatlantic flights. I assume the Tu-144 was no different.

But didn't the TU require the crew to switch on pump to transfer fuel from one tank to another during the flight? In concorde this was automatically controlled by the onbroad computer but I do not recall if the TU also was able to do this automatically.
Awesome..........
Hope it goes well. Dont get burned out. Have fun making it.
