• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

A computer only does what it was instructed to do, this includes your mischievous disobedient text o_O :banghead: :scratchch
 
If it's not possible to not use or display emoticons, perhaps they could optionally be replaced with a lot of text explaining what the more exotic ones might mean in the various cultures of people participating. Maybe some web links too if one is still not sure. This for the clueless like me. I would use an emoticon at this point, but I have no idea of which one.

I have been typing a 'space' after the colon

(A: PLANE LATITUDE, degrees)

which is fast and most people would know to remove the space in actual code..

The following is between [ plain] and [ /plain] (hehehe, had to add spaces again)

(A:PLANE LATITUDE, degrees)

and that works but unless there is a [ plain] icon in the menu bar, typing out [ plain] and [ /plain] would take too long when I'm posting a quick message or response.

You could do this n the old forum as well. Subscribe is similar to watch. I just wish the BOLD would indicate if there was a new post since your last visit like in the old software.

I'd also prefer it,
if -
- after viewing a subscribed thread,
- and more importantly, after marking ALL posts as read,
that,
that damned RED 'ALERT' COUNT icon (in TRHC)
would decrement accordingly, :stirthepo
without having to continually MOUSEOVER it.

In comparison with previous board's emoticons,
which are sharp, bordered, of distinct intent,
Xenforo's emoticons are a bit wishy-washy,
as in faint/pasty/pastelly/difficult to distinguish their intent.
Particularly on my laptop's screen.

I just wrote a Wiki and I would like to make a Wiki Article Discussion but I cannot.
I cannot post a reply or make a new thread there.
I wonder if it possible for me to do that so I can discuss about the Wiki that I wrote to help with any difficulties to follow or giving more understanding.
 
Let me check, before the wiki discussion forum was automatically link to talk pages on the wiki.

Since the link with the wiki software doesn't work anymore the wiki discussion forum had been closed and moved to the archive.

So just start a thread in another forum to discuss your article.
 
I think what you see is due to the way replies are added without refreshing the page. So your last post shows the right count, but all previous ones in the same thread still show the old one. Once you refresh the page, they all show the same count.
