• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA ZBAA Beijing International Airport for FSX

Bravo Tic! Doing such an airport by oneself is a feat and a half!

I can't wait to buy this and do some long haul to London! It looks superb!

Really nice work. :)

But one sidequestion. Will u update your previous sceneries like KLIA and BKK to work in P3Dv4?
Sure after I have done with this airport. I can do one thing at a time only. When you stop doing something in the middle, it takes a long time when you come back to do what you have left. So, my work flow is just only one work until it finish.
Some more detail on the jetway. Hopefully I can make it work by SODE.

I think I have to change my plan a bit.
People use jetway differently. Some use AES and some use CTRL-J with GSX. I think I will stick with static jetway first. After I have done all the jetways I can get their coordinate to use with SODE jetway. People using AES, those static jetway can be excluded by AES then replaced with their own animated ones. People who use GSX (no jetway supported by GSX) can download SODE jetway later. The project can be done faster that way.

I think I will do it to be compatible with P3Dv3 and up. Some features are just only P3Dv4.1. Those might be a separated download or update.

out of curiosity why?
For the same reason why many still use FSX.
For example, i have AS Next, which support only P3Dv3. If I decide buy P3Dv4, i will must buy AS2016 and many other product which do not provide free updates.
Also important are the increased system requirements of the new simulator version.
Sorry for my bad english)

I think a lot of people still using the same machine if it runs fine. I still always think about " if it has no problem, don't fix it". A lot people do not want to go through hassels if they change the platform. Something like; hardware does not run it, need a new graphic card then need a new driver, then need a new RAM, then need a new Windows, the need a new set of computer and so on......

I know that someone has launched ZBAA at Simmarket now. Never mind, I am still doing this airport. I think you can get more detail ZBAA and cheaper.

Here is the jetway of the terminal 1 and 2. Both terminals share the same jetway, make me work easier. This picture is rendered in 3dsmax2012. I think I need to add some weathering, wear and torn to the texture a bit since it is quite old jetway. Not difficult to make it dirty and rusty....ha ha.

I love the detail and hope you guys love the detail too. Detail needs time so just wait for me, please.

Excellent work Tic! Very glad you are continuing. After all you have come this far so it would be a tragedy otherwise.

I will definitely be waiting for your version.

Cheers,
