GIMP (v2.10.14 & Later):
None (Normal map plugin is already included in the software). If you have updated GIMP from the previous version (v2.10.12) and you wish to only use the newer version (internal version; 64-bit) of, you can remove the plugin by deleting the following files below. Otherwise, you can leave the previous plugin installed, along with the internal version. It will not affect the workings of GIMPor either of the plugins.
The location of the normalmap.exe is: ..\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\
The location of the 3 “.dll” files (glew32.dll, libgdkglext-win32-1.0-0.dll, and libgtkglext-win32-1.0-0.dll) is: ..\Program Files\GIMP 2\bin\
GIMP (Before v2.10.14):
GIMP Normalmap v1.2.x; make sure you follow install instructions, Readme file.
Make sure you choose the correct version for your computer, either the 32-bit or 64-bit. The Zip containing the plugin has a ‘readme’ file within. Please have it installed before starting this tutorial.
