Hi everyone,
I’d figure I’d go here to ask for some help with some finicky ground polygons. Basically, whenever I am creating the ground polygons overtop my reference image (which is projected in WGS 84 / Psuedo-Merc like the bing maps imagery) it looks fine in the 3D modeling software, but when it’s placed as a projected mesh I can never get it to quite accurately cover the aerial imagery in the simulator.
I’m assuming this is because of the curvature of the earth, as it’s a rather large polygon, but I’ve tried different mapping projections and different providers (including the same one used in sim) to no avail.
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on getting my ground polys to align properly?
