P3D v3 : Multiple Issues About Custom Scenery (SketchUp Model) [SOLVED]

Hi,

In the last 4 days I'm trying to add a SketchUp model into Prepar 3D v3. Here is the link for the model : click

But no matter how hard I try, I can't resolve some issues:
  • I'm seeing the backside (or inside) of object no matter which angle I look
  • Clouds and lights are always in front of the object
  • Sometimes FPS drops too much (Normally I get around 55-58. Then it drops to 15 or 10. Sometimes even 5.)
And those are the solutions I tried:
  • I resized all textures to power of 2 and reduced textures into one big dds file (MaterialEditor)
  • I drawed whole model again with SketchUp just to be sure problem isn't the model itself
  • I painted whole model again (one-sided)
  • I turned all 2d parts of the model into 3d (with SketchUp)
  • I tried to make textures jpg, bmp and png instead of dds (I also tried with dds many times)
  • I changed graphics settings from Prepar3D multiple times and tried every setting possible
PS : I've added object into Prepar3d with Addit! Pro

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have a nice day.

Apparently, my problem was exporting the .bgl file for FS2002. And when I look for P3D v3 in export section, I couldn't find it. But I was able to export it for P3D v2, so I gave it a try. And this time whole texture gone. I can't see the model even in modelconverterx. That model looks like this:

Your textures need to be in the same folder (in a texture subfolder) as the BGL file you created, even when loading into MCX.

Folder
.....scenery - BGL files
.....texture - texture files

Yes, I tried that way too but it didn't work at first. Then I noticed that the texture file names in the error messages in mcx console were corrupted. Like for material1.dds, the error was like "Failed to load texture: mat___l_.dds". It was like that even in the material editor. After many tries, I decided to replace the original texture names with the ones in the error messages. It worked for mcx, but not for the game.

Thanks for your answer btw.

I've finally solved it. It looks like if you are exporting .BGL file for Prepar3D v3, textures can't have "i" in their filename. Its maybe error in BGLCompiler in SDK or mcx, I don't know. But changing texture filenames solved the problem for me.
